Training Suite

iVision has developed a timely and cost-effective series to educate your employees and update their skills in areas that are most prone to creating legal risk. These two-hour sessions provide educational, tactical and motivational components. Each session utilizes participatory activities to enhance learning and maintain audience attention. By incorporating your organization’s practices and processes into the training, we are able to reaffirm your corporate messages.

Diversity Awareness

This session challenges participants to reframe their sense of what exactly “Diversity” encompasses. Designed to move an organization toward more inclusive behaviors, participants will engage in activities designed to uncover perceptions which may unknowingly be reflected in exclusive behaviors. Key content includes Generational Overviews, Values/Cultures/Stereotypes, Behavior Do’s & Don’ts, and Management Considerations. Participants will gain tools and techniques for establishing more effective relations within the workplace which can in turn reduce an organization’s legal risk.

Interviewing Effectively & Efficiently

This session focuses on the fundamentals of Behavioral Based Interviewing, a method designed to identify specific past behaviors. A key concept is to identify the competencies required in a position (job description) and building the interview to assess those desired competencies. Incorporating an overview of your organization’s internal interviewing process into the session clarifies roles and responsibilities. Participants will engage in skill building exercises to reinforce the techniques learned. This session will increase knowledge and confidence of participants while also moving your organization toward effective and legally appropriate interviewing practices.

Legal Awareness Overview

The objective of this session is to create an awareness of the key legal considerations for employees engaged in supervisory and management roles. Key concepts of employment law, preventing wrongful action, preventing discrimination, understanding harassment and Worker’s Compensation comprise the primary elements of this session. Incorporating your organization’s practices for addressing these issues will clarify roles and responsibilities. Participants will gain knowledge geared to prevent situations from arising that would put your organization at legal risk.

Performance Management Essentials

This session provides supervisory and management employees with the framework they need to engage in effective performance management practices. As Performance Management begins in recruiting, this session takes a full-life cycle view of the employee performance management experience. Incorporating your organization’s Performance Review into the session ensures that it will be utilized most effectively and clarifies roles and responsibilities. Participants will increase their knowledge and confidence in assessing their employees’ performance while also ensuring that their practices help your organization avoid legal risk.

Team Building

This program is designed to improve the level of communications within a team or entire organization. Initially each participant completes a behavioral assessment (Pro2) which identifies and categorizes personality traits and communication styles. These assessments are then utilized in a group session in which employees share their profile; employees gain an awareness of their own style as well as their team mates. Participants often experience a great sense of enlightenment as they recognize the varying work styles and communication preferences and the impact these differing styles have on one another. Team communications are enhanced with this greater knowledge of style and preferences.
